Charles T. "Chuckie" Beyer
1982 - 2005

On July 24, 2005, the Beyer family and the Roxbury Ice Hockey family lost one of its beloved members.  Charles T. "Chuckie" Beyer lost his battle with drug addiction at the age of 23.

The Beyers have been a part of Roxbury Hockey since 1992.  Even after Chuckie's hockey years with Roxbury were over, his dad Chuck continued to serve on the Roxbury Youth Ice Hockey Board of Directors and coach the Roxbury Youth Squirt team until the family relocated to their current home in North Carolina this past year.

Chuckie loved hockey and had a great passion for the game.  Although, through this great passion he earned the dubious "honor" of holding the Roxbury High School record for most penalty minutes.

In order to continue the loving memories of Chuckie, the Beyer family, in conjunction with the Roxbury Youth Ice Hockey Association, has set up a scholarship fund which will be awarded to the college bound Roxbury High School hockey player who plays with the most passion.

Donations will gladly be accepted and can be sent to:
